Senior Accountant (SA)
Jakarta Raya

Responsibilities:

Cash/Revenue:

  • Perform bank account transfers as directed by CFO and Controller
  • Review cash receipts journal entry prepared by the A/P Senior Accountant

 

Accounts Payable:

  • Review Accounts Payable batch prepared by the A/P Senior Accountant for the following 
  • Review the corporate credit card journal entries and supporting documentation prepared by A/P Senior Accountant

 

Month End Close/Financial Reports:

  • Facilitate and complete monthly close procedures
  • Review vendor activity to ensure all monthly invoices have been received and processed
  • Perform the operating cash account reconciliation and related journal entries
  • Perform various detailed month-end allocations for fringe benefits, shared costs and indirect cost allocations
  • Record the release from restrictions revenue journal entry
  • Review all month end reconciliations and journal entries prepared by the A/P Senior Accountant
  • Preparation of a monthly account analysis of balance sheet and income statement accounts
  • Management of the Fixed Asset process, policy, and procedure
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls
  • Analyze revenues, commissions and expenses to ensure they are recorded appropriately on a monthly basis
  • Assist with internal and external financial and tax audits and examination processes, including assisting with the preparation of audited financial statements, footnotes and supplemental information
  • Assist with preparing tax returns and corporate reporting requirements
  • Other duties/special projects as assigned

 

Supervisory Duties:

  • Interviewing, hiring orienting and training employees
  • Planning, assigning, and directing work
  • Coaching and appraising performance
  • Rewarding and disciplining employees
  • Addressing complaints and resolving problems

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's Degree, Economics, Finance/Accountancy/Banking or equivalent
  • CPA or CPA candidate preferred
  • 2 years of working experience in accounting field
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills  
  • Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
  • Detail oriented and organized in work
  • Confidentiality
  • Ability to meet assigned deadlines
